During this login, we automatically receive your name and email address from the identity provider. By logging in, you authorize us to collect, store, and use your name and email address in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
In some cases, especially involving users under the age of 13, a coach or authorized representative may create user profiles on behalf of their team members. Except as otherwise stated in this Privacy Policy, we do not sell, trade, rent, or otherwise share your Personal Information with third parties for marketing purposes without your explicit consent. We may share Personal Information with third-party vendors who provide services on our behalf, such as AWS for analytics, engagement tracking, and email or push notification communications. These vendors only use your Personal Information at our direction and in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
We primarily use the Personal Information you provide to communicate with you. This includes responding to your questions, soliciting feedback, providing technical support, or potentially informing you about future promotional offers.
We may share Personal Information with outside parties if we have a good-faith belief that access, use, preservation, or disclosure of the information is reasonably necessary to comply with applicable legal processes or governmental requests; to enforce applicable Terms of Service, including investigation of potential violations; to address fraud, security, or technical concerns; or to protect against harm to the rights, property, or safety of our users or the public, as required or permitted by law.
We use Non-Personal Information to improve the Service, optimize user experience, and analyze usage patterns and trends. We reserve the right to freely use and disclose Non-Personal Information, such as aggregated or anonymized habit and athletic performance data, to partners, advertisers, AI vendors, and other third parties at our discretion.
In the event of a business transaction such as a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, your Personal Information may be transferred among the assets. You acknowledge and consent that such transfers may occur and are permitted by this Privacy Policy, and any acquiring party may continue processing your Personal Information as set forth in this Privacy Policy. If our information practices change at any time in the future, we will post the updated policy on our Site to allow you to review any changes and opt-out if desired. We encourage periodic review if you have concerns about how your information is used.
We implement security measures designed to protect your information from unauthorized access. Your account is protected via social login authentication providers (such as Google or Apple), which handle all password management directly. We do not store or have access to your passwords. To enhance security, we encourage you to log out of your account after each use, especially on shared or public devices.
We employ technological security measures, including encryption, firewalls, and secure socket layer (SSL) technology. Personal Information is primarily stored and managed securely through AWS Cognito, leveraging its robust security infrastructure.
All freeform text entries submitted by users under the age of 13 undergo automatic redaction of personally identifiable information (PII) via AWS Comprehend before being stored or used. Additionally, when transmitting user information to AI vendors, all user names are masked to protect privacy.
Despite our diligent efforts, no security measures can fully guarantee against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction of your information. By using our Service, you acknowledge that you understand and accept these inherent risks.
You have the right at any time to prevent us from contacting you for marketing purposes. When we send a promotional communication to a user, the user can opt out of further promotional communications by following the unsubscribe instructions provided in each promotional e-mail. You can also indicate that you do not wish to receive marketing communications from us by emailing support@optimism.health. Please note that notwithstanding the promotional preferences you indicate by either unsubscribing or opting out via email, we may continue to send you administrative emails including, for example, periodic updates to our Privacy Policy.
